The “signs” package consists of a total of 11 different signs or signage for underground supply lines. These information signs are used for decoration or as an indication of a water extraction point.
Explanations:
The blue water signs indicate road caps (gate valves) below street level that provide access to local water supply shut-off valves (gate valves).
The green sewer signs indicate street boxes below street level that provide access to sewer gate valves. Special sewage systems such as overpressure or underpressure systems are marked in this way, but not ordinary sewage systems.
The hydrant signs with red and blue borders indicate underground hydrants, i.e. water intake points from the local water network that are below street level.
The red-framed hydrant signs indicate hydrants that are suitable for drawing off extinguishing water. Hydrant signs with a blue border, on the other hand, indicate hydrants that are not suitable for drawing off extinguishing water.
There are also technical hydrants for maintenance work on drinking water and waste water pipes. These signs have a blue or green border.
