The MERGE MAXX 950 belt rake is THE machine for contractors and large companies, who rely on well-organized and effective forage harvesting chains.
With working widths of 7.50 to 9.50 m, these rakes lay a 20 to 30 m wide strip in an even swath. This allows the following forage harvesting machines to travel at a constant speed and achieve up to 3 km/h more power. The MERGE MAXX belt rakes also offer amazing versatility when it comes to laying swaths and picking up a wide variety of forage plants: light or heavy, dense or loose, short or long crops (arable grass or permanent grassland, straw and whole crop silage, mixtures, hay and much more). They are particularly suitable for sensitive forage plants as the valuable leaf mass is harvested at the same time.
The working principle of the belt rake: The crop is not distributed over the ground, but picked up exactly where it was mown. Further positive effects: Less crumbling losses and significantly less soil and stones in the feed.
